Sports Complex

The ‘Parklakes’ Sports Complex is located on the flat northern end of the development with vehicle access off the Bli Bli/Yandina Road. Foot access is via various walking trails which link the estate. This makes it easy for sports loving people to get there on foot. Sports catered for are soccer (3 competition fields) and cricket including club house, change rooms and cafeteria located alongside the sports fields. Part of the sport precinct is a series of lakes which will allow for irrigation of the sports fields and as well as fishing, each lake is stocked with Australian Bass. Fishing is a ‘catch & release’ system. The whole complex is approx 8 ha (20 acres) and will be a valuable asset to “Parklakes” and Bli Bli - Sunshine Coast, as a whole.
